Firework Watch Party: Tuesday July 4. Bring your family and friends out to watch the July 4th fireworks display from the deck of the submarine USS Razorback. Event will begin at 7:00 pm and conclude after the firework show is completed. The exhibits will be open for tours, but the submarine will not be available for tours. A donation bar will be available. Soft drinks, chips, and candy will be available for purchase. Tickets cost $5 for one or $20 for six when purchased by June 30th. Tickets at the door will cost $10 per person. Children under five years of age are free. For more information or to purchase tickets call 501-371-8320. Arkansas and World War II Educator's Professional Development: Tuesday June 20. All Arkansas educators that are looking to explore the role Arkansas played during World War II are invited. Check out sessions that start at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History and end at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum. Registered participants receive six hours of professional development credit. Limited space is available. Click here to register by June 15. National Pollinator Week: June 19-25. Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center is hosting this national event for Central Arkansas. The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum will display information about two pollinators that United States Navy ships were named after. Learn about these historical vessels as well as why they were named after these common pollinators.  

Temporary Exhibits

"Great Naval Battles of the Pacific in World War II" visitors can learn about the five major naval battles of the Pacific Theater during World War II. There are also World War II uniforms and model planes on display with this exhibit.
